Evgenii MONASTYRENKO
I am an economist specializing in both the applied theory of general equilibrium and large-scale empirical research. My principal research field is International Trade, but I am also very much interested in Development Economics.
My most recent research papers contribute to understanding of the welfare outcomes of trade shocks, the role of product quality in trade, the impact of public-private partnerships on hospitals' operational costs, and the interplay between regional-level migration and trade flows. I obtained PhD in International Economics at the Paris School of Economics and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne under the supervision of Prof. Lionel Fontagné. My thesis is available online: Essays in international trade and energy. Between September 2018 and August 2023 I served as a post-doc researcher at the University of Luxembourg.
